Auckland food business · Built from experience

We bake the cookies.
We build the systems.

Original recipes. Our own ordering and delivery tools. A closer connection with our customers. At Dipped, food and technology develop together, inside a working West Auckland micro-bakery.

Made here. Built here.Food, operations and technology — working together.

Inside the business

More goes into the box than cookies.

A rotating menu creates a practical challenge: different flavours, different quantities and different delivery windows each week. We built tools around that work, from the first order to the next customer visit.

Recipes developed at Dipped

Our own cookie recipes sit at the heart of the range. New flavours, fillings and finishes are developed through testing, then join a rotating menu. The flavour vault keeps past creations and customer reviews discoverable.

Ordering built around the bakery

Customers build a box from the current menu, check their postcode and choose from available delivery dates and times. Behind the scenes, orders feed baking and packing plans so the team can work from what customers actually chose.

Delivery managed in one place

Our Delivery Centre brings orders, packing and customer contact together. Daylight and evening routes are managed separately, with RouteXL supporting route planning. Chilled delivery loops connect the bakery to Auckland doorsteps.

A relationship beyond checkout

Dipped Rewards connects orders, cashback, reviews and favourite flavours. Members can save the flavours they love and take part in community lineups, giving us another way to hear what customers want to see next.

From bakery tools to a food-business platform

Built for Dipped.
Grown into Plattr.

Other small food business owners started asking about our website and technology. The tools we had developed for our own bakery had caught their attention.

That interest became Plattr: a platform bringing websites, menus, online ordering, payments and customer loyalty together for food businesses. Dipped is where the idea began and where we use the technology every day.

A practical place to develop ideas.

Running the bakery gives us direct experience of the work: changing menus, preparing orders, organising deliveries and looking after customers. Those everyday needs inform the technology we build.

The next conversation

Interested in what we’re building?

We welcome thoughtful introductions from New Zealand food and hospitality businesses, retail and distribution groups, and people exploring strategic investment or acquisition opportunities. Founder Flynn is the starting point for these conversations.

A little more about the business.

What makes Dipped different as a food business?

We develop our own recipes and the tools around the customer experience. Our weekly menu, online ordering, baking plans, delivery management and rewards are connected parts of running the bakery. The food and the systems are developed around the same real orders.

What is the connection between Dipped and Plattr?

Plattr grew out of the technology built for Dipped. After other small food business owners expressed interest in our website and ordering experience, we developed Plattr as a platform for food businesses. Dipped uses the technology in its everyday operations.

Are you open to strategic partnerships or acquisition conversations?

We welcome relevant introductions from food businesses, retail and distribution groups, and potential strategic partners or acquirers. Tell us who you represent, what interests you about Dipped and the kind of conversation you would like to have. Commercial details can be discussed privately with our founder.

Can journalists or event organisers speak with the founder?

Yes. Contact us with your publication or event, the story or topic you are exploring and your deadline. Topics include building an Auckland food brand, developing a direct ordering and delivery experience, and the journey from Dipped to Plattr.
