The Dipped loop · Auckland delivery
Your cookies travel as part of a carefully planned local delivery loop. Here’s what happens between our kitchen and your doorstep—and why we do it this way.

How we count →
Based on our all-time delivery history.
Measured by delivery day, not exact time slot.Includes completed deliveries and deliveries already recorded as delayed.
This is an all-time view of paid local delivery orders in our recorded delivery areas. Each order counts once. Pickup, cancelled, refunded and identifiable nationwide courier orders are excluded.
A recorded move to a later delivery run counts as one day of delay. Each further move adds another day. “On time” means a completed delivery with no recorded day’s delay. This measures delivery-day delays, not the exact arrival time within a daylight or evening slot.
The percentages include completed deliveries and orders already recorded as delayed, even if they’re still awaiting delivery. Upcoming or unfinished orders without a recorded delay are excluded until their outcome is known. Percentages are rounded for display.
How your delivery day works
Your morning message confirms that your delivery is happening today. Your order is scheduled for the daylight or evening time slot you selected.
Drivers from our Drop Delivery service are assigned different zones. Each driver follows a loop through their zone, visiting priority customers first and then standard customers within that time slot.
You’ll get a message when your order is next in the queue, then another once it’s delivered. Keep your phone handy in case your driver needs help finding your address, and bring your desserts inside promptly.
Why a loop?
Your delivery window covers a route with several stops, rather than a direct trip from our kitchen to a single address.
Grouping nearby deliveries shares the travel cost across a route and helps us keep delivery prices low.
Drop creates on-demand delivery opportunities for people looking for flexible, paid service work in their community.
Planned routes support our chilled delivery process, helping protect fresh cream, frostings and fillings throughout the journey.
Chilled for the journey
We use chilled delivery with daily temperature monitoring to protect desserts made with fresh cream, frosting and fillings. That means some treats will arrive cooler than their ideal serving temperature.
Good to know
Your driver may be completing other stops in your zone. Priority orders go first within each time slot, followed by standard deliveries. Traffic, access to properties and the number of stops can affect the order and timing. Please use your selected delivery window as your guide.
Priority places your order ahead of standard deliveries in your zone and selected time slot. There may be other priority customers on the same loop; it doesn’t promise an exact arrival time or move an evening order into the daylight slot.
Arrange for someone to bring your order inside if possible. Make sure your delivery notes explain how to find a sheltered, accessible spot, and keep an eye on the delivery text. Desserts that need refrigeration should be brought inside and chilled promptly.
Yes. Reply in the same text conversation to reach your driver or the Dipped support team. You can send access instructions, ask about your delivery or let us know you need help. Drivers check messages when it’s safe to do so, so a reply may take a little time while they’re on the road.
Reply to your Dipped text, use our contact form or email hello@dipped.nz. Include your order number and the name on your order so we can find it quickly. For help with today’s delivery, replying to the delivery text keeps your message in the same conversation.
Please reply to your delivery text or contact us as soon as you notice an issue. Include your order number, a short description and photos of the items and packaging where helpful. If you’re concerned about the condition or temperature of a dessert, let us know before eating it so we can help.
Reply to your delivery text as soon as possible with any gate codes, access details or directions that will help your driver. If you need to change the address or delivery date, contact us first: changes depend on where your order is in the delivery process and aren’t confirmed until we reply.
If you haven’t had an update, reply to your delivery text so we can check your order. Occasionally we may need to reschedule a delivery. If your order can’t be completed, we’ll contact you at the end of the route to confirm the next available delivery date. Please don’t assume it has been rescheduled unless we’ve confirmed this with you.
If your selected time slot has passed, reply to your delivery text and we’ll check with your driver. Traffic, difficult access or an earlier stop can affect the route. We’ll confirm whether your order is still coming or needs to move to the next available delivery date. If a later arrival won’t work for you, tell us so we can help with the next steps. You can also contact our support team with your order number.
